Thoughts on neutering?

My pup Koda is 11 months now, vet already said he can be neutered now. I want to do it because he is potty trained, but will still do some markings here and there on corners, and ESPECIALLY at another person’s house who has a dog. I’m just worried he’s not fully developed yet and don’t want any health issues in the future because of it. Thanks in advance!
